For many years our practice has been restoring missing teeth with implants that are surgically placed into the bone to act as a replacement for the root. A precision fitted prosthetic crown is then attached to the implant to replace the missing tooth.
Although some minor surgery is involved, implant supported crowns can be placed without compromising the adjacent teeth. In many cases implants are now regarded as ideal treatment where a heavily damaged tooth is in question. We can also replace a span of several missing teeth with an implant supported bridge. Quite commonly we have provided two implants to aid in the retention and stability of full dentures. Implants require careful planning and cautious delivery, so please talk to us about your own situation.
