EXTRACTIONS & ORAL SURGERY
When all else fails we may need to remove an ailing tooth. Aside from discomfort, persistent infections can be a risk to your overall health. We are very careful during extraction procedures to minimize the stress on surrounding bone. Maintaining the bone following extraction is important for placing dentures or implants at the site. We can also plan extractions in conjunction with immediate dentures: the new denture is made in advance to be fitted at the extraction appointment so you don’t need to be without teeth.
Occasionally we may also need to perform minor oral surgery to remove badly broken teeth. We take great care to make sure your post operative recovery is as uneventful as possible.
